Prenuptial Agreement

1. Will a prenutpial agreement expire at any point in a marriage? 2. If we bought a house with money from my wifes stocks (defined as seperate in a pre-nup), do I have a legal claim to the house?

Re: Prenuptial Agreement

It will really depend on the four corners of the agreement and what can be inferred of the intent of parties. You will need to speak with an attorney and review the agreement and the developments since the date the agreement was signed.

Generally, when segregated assets are used for community purposes they lose their segregated status. But again the agreement would need to be reviewed for any language regarding such uses.
