Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

prenuptials

We are getting married, both have 2 older children. we want to have some things stated to protect both of us . At death or the unlikely event of a devorce. Would it be considered legal and binding if we wrote this up ourselves and had it notorized?

Re: prenuptial

The notarization would prove that the signatures were valid. Potentially even show that you were not drunk or under duress. Alas, as to the content of the document being signed it does nothing.

A properly drafted agreement will make life easier and cheaper should this document ever be challenged.

Consider this if you do it yourself you might save a few HUNDRED dollars. If it get challenged as being unclear it will cost in the TENS of THOUSANDS of dollars.
