property ownership

my daughter and husband bought a house a few months ago. They have a 2 year old. She caught him cheating. Her name is on the mortgage but not the deed. What should she do. She would like to keep the house. We haven't figured out if she can carry it on her own. But just in general what should her strategy be??

You asked about retaining a house in a marriage that is on the rocks.

You really need to speak with an attorney to find the best route through this situation. There are many more issues than keeping the house and by focusing on a relatively small point.

It is possible, but it may not be the best solution. Especially given that there is likely little equity in the house.
