Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

What is the protocol for having child support ended? Do I have to petition the court when my daughter turns 18, or do the courts stop taking support from my pay automatically? I live in Philadelphia Pa. and I haven't found any info on this. Thank you

You need to file with the Domestic Relations Section. At some point they will catch on that child support should end. However, reminding them makes it happen when it is supposed to.

What you need to file is a request to modify. You can go down to the office and file for less than $20.
