Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My question is - if there is a person harassing you & your family and you've sent a cease and desist letter to them already (certified) and the continue to contact you & your kids out of the blue to cause problems - if you meet them somewhere and tell them that you are recording the conversation on your iphone and then tell them to leave you alone, totally alone. Not to contact you or you kids ever again - is it legal? By legal, besides the obvious meaning, I mean can you use that video once she contacts you or your kids again to press charges for harassment against her? There are untold text messages where she's been told to stop contacting them and she continues.
