Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
I have a very serious question, and I really don't know where to start with this topic.
So, my husband and I have been separated for over 2 1/2 years now and we're finally filing for divorce. we have a 5 year old daughter, who when we first left she didn't see her daddy for about 2 years by his choice. Now he is living closer to us, and he has been seeing her.
EVERY single time that she goes to stay with him she screams and cries harder than I have ever seen a child cry. She literally screams and hangs on he as tight as she possibly can, she looks thoroughly terrified and grabs for me and it breaks my heart! She tells everyone that she doesn't want to go see him and she hates him that he scares her. She will literally kick, hit, scratch him and run away to get away from him.
This past weekend (and a few other times) he had her and she came home and she was complaining that her "girlie parts" hurt she kept grabbing them, then a little later after complaining for awhile she pulled her pants down in the bathroom and showed me and she was bright red down there. I asked her why they hurt and she said she didn't want to tell me.
My daughter is VERY shy talking to people, and she recently told both myself and my mom that her daddy pulls her pants and panties down or lifts her dress and pulls her panties down and she hates is. Then she told me the other day that he daddy touches her all over and she doesn't like it. She begs me to not make her go to see her daddy.
I just want to know what I should do about this, I DO NOT want to brush it off, and have it be anything serious. I just have a horrible feeling about the situation because I know that her father was molested when he was younger and he cheated on me with multiple men and women, and he's very into all sorts of STRANGE sexual things. I am so incredibly nervous about sending her to see him, but I don't know at all what to do about it. I have NO clue who to contact, or where to go with any of this. I'm afraid that he is hurting her and I don't know what to do about it. I also don't want to make a big deal out of things and have it be nothing.
