Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
questionable enviorment
My husband and I have joint phyical and legal custody.
I still have belongings in our marital home.My husbands best friend, a 23 year old male moved in. When I would drop off my son for visitation I would find kegs of beer, liquor bottles, half full cups of beer, and the house in dissary. I commented to him about the state of the residence and he then proceeded to change the locks and force me to pick up my son on the curb or at another location. Is there any way someone could enter his residence to make sure my son is safe when he is in his care?

Re: questionable enviorment
Depending upon the county where you reside, you may be able to petition the court for a modification of custody and request a home study. You also have the right to request, through proper motion, that the court evaluate the people with whom your child is spending a great deal of time through a psychological evaluation. This can be costly, however, and you will need the assistance of an attorney to pursue this course.
