Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I received a letter today asking if my daughter who turns 18 in a few months was emancipated because if that was the case child support would be terminated now rather than in 7 months when she graduates from high school. is the state obligated to send this letter to everyone or did my ex request to have this sent to me?
