Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
I recently had a 3 year PFA granted against my husband. He has since filed for a no-fault divorce and is asking for allimony, legal fees and cost, full custody of our son and equal distribution of joint property. Prior to this were were also in the process of filing for bankruptecy and our house will soon be going into forclosure where me and my son currently reside. Within the no-fault divorce patition it does indicate that he is and has always been willing to negociate a fair and reasonable settlement of all matters with the defendent (me). Due to the financial hardships that we are currently in and have been for some time I would like to try and negotiate a fair and reasonable settlement with my husband without having to put out any additional lawyers fees. With a PFA in place is there any way that my husband and I can communicate to come to a mutual agreement without breaking the PFA order?

No, a PFA works in both directions he has to stay away from you and avoid contact and you have to do the same.
