Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

refusing to share custody without a court order

I am in the process of filing for divorce and custody. Can i refuse to let my child's father see him until the custody is settled in court? also can his father take him from school or where ever after i tell him he's not getting my child back? how do i prevent this?

Re: refusing to share custody without a court order

Until there is a custody order each parent has equal rights. Unless a court believes one parent will harm the child it is tough to get an expedited order.

Good luck to you.
