Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I want to remarry. Wife filed papers and I received them in October 2012. I moved out of our home in December 2012. Completed all discovery documents. Wife has since been diagnosed with breast cancer and has completed surgery and is now going under other treatments which could take up to 6 months. I made several requests for a settlement offer but no response. We went to domestic relations and child/spousal/mortgage payment has been ordered. I sent her a email detailing settlement I would be willing to abide by which includes me signing over home to her and continuing support payment for mortgage until she would be able to refinance and then have support adjusted by domestics. She filed the divorce papers and requested process to start. How long is she able to delay the settlement offer? Can I file for a speedy divorce or bifurcated divorce so I can remarry?

Your wife has to consent to the divorce. If she does, then you can get a divorce in 90 days. If she does not consent, then you have to wait 2 years. Divorce and equitable distribution and child support/custody and any other issues can be bifurcated. You should talk to your family law attorney as to how best to move forward.
