What do I say?

I need to request a phone conference in a letter to a master. Not quite sure what to say!

You simply explain why you can not be there and ask if he will allow you to appear by telephone. If this was in front of a Common Pleas Judge you would have to make a motion.

Assuming this is a custody conference its not uncommon for an out of state party to appear by phone.
