Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Residential Custody

My husband and I are in the middle of a divorce. He is stating that he would like ''residential'' custody of our daughter age 7 and her physical address to be his. Other than that we have agreed to joint custody. What exactly does residential custody mean and what would I be agreeing to. Is this an advisable decision? Does her address have to be one or the other? Thank you.

Re: Residential Custody

Their is physical and legal custody in PA. He may be interseted in the tax benefits of her "residing" with him. Additionally if the physical custody is split 50/50 no party owes support. I offer free consultations.
