Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Reverse established paternity?

My husband had two children out of wedlock before we were married. He was 23 when the first child was born. Without legal counsel, he signed the document agreeing to paternity. He was told that if he didn't sign, he would have to come up with $300 for the paternity test, which he didn't have. He has paid child support for that child and the next one, born two years later for 10 years, but still has questions about their true paternity. Is he stuck for life paying for children that may not be his? Or does he have some recourse, even at this late date? He does not have a relationship with them because of the questions in his mind.

Re: Reverse established paternity?

Because of his actions in supporting the children for many years, he cannot now deny paternity. For further discussion, please contact an attorney.
