rights on seperation

I really need to know if I can leave my husband and take one of the vehicles, which are both in is name, he is a drunk, and has tryed to take everything from me, i have a place to move to, but will need one of the vehicles to go to work, iam willing to take the older one. i just dont want to start a new job and move in with my girfriend, and have the poliece come get the car, where-as i couldnt support my self. thank you very much susan

You are a titled owner to the vehicle so you cannot steal it and therefore you can take the car. However, your husband is also a titled owner and he could retrieve it if he found out where it was and you weren't there to stop him. I offer free consultations.
