Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My ex and I separated on March 19, 2010. I found out last year that after being married for 3 years together for 5 that he was actually gay. We have two children together. Since then we have spoken about and agreed that we both wish for a quick and speedy divorce, however, I want full custodial rights to our two children and wish for him to have supervised visitation rights. I also want him to pay child support which he has not done since our separation. Although we have the issues with our children, we continue to agree on the divorce. Is there a way for us to get the divorce and keep the child support and custody separate? I have a court date for custody 2/15/11 and will be filing for support soon. I wonder about how this will affect my taxes. Will I be able to file under the single status?

OK his being gay doesn't affect his custody rights. Yes custody and child support are separate issues.
