Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
seperation in PA
My lawyer told me our marital property would be divided as of the date of seperation. A friend told me if I sleep with my husband, he wants a second chance that voids the seperation date is this true?

Why didn't you just ask your lawyer?
I don't suppose your friend is a lawyer. Which is good as with many things it would depend. However, based on the facts you've given its unlikely to change the date of separation. It also could but there would have to be a lot more facts than you've given.

You asked about taking legal advice from an uneducated putz versus advice from an highly educated, credentialed and experienced member of the legal profession.
Hmmmm. Now that I put it that way.
Are you kidding, what is that? Some new grade school rule? You might want to start keeping your conversations with that friend on more simple topics (Like how to tie shoelaces.)
Seriously. That was a really stupid thing that person said. If having sex with an ex was cause for disavowing separation then no one would ever be able to get divorced.
There's always a bounce back in a relationship before the break up actually takes. A couple of quickies does not render the entire separation period null.
