Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Seperation/Dating

I have been seperated since July 2007 in PA and currently live in NJ. We are in a custody battle currently and I would like to know if dating while being seperated would be an issue in court. I am trying to obtain either joint or full physical custody of my 2.5 year old daughter.

Re: Separation/Dating

It should be but it will probably be an issue. Custody battles have a way of becoming bare knuckle bar fights. Especially when one party seems to be ready to move on with their life and the other party isn't.

A lot will depend on the nature of the relationship and the character of the person you are dating as well as how the judge feels about.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
