Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I am a the single mom and have been doing this on my own since my son was born 2 1/2 yrs ago my ex was physically abusive and controlling he told me to kill my unborn child and I fled I haven't seen him since I was 3 months pregnant I want to know if I can get child support without him having the right to see my son I won't jepordize my sons life for anyone or anything

Regardless of whether or not he is paying support he has the right to sue for visitation or custody of the child. It doesn't sound like there is any custody order here, so if you would file for support and he would want visits, you wouldn't have to give him those visits. If he wanted the visits and you wouldn't give the visits, he could sue in court for some rights. If he did sue, you would have the chance to respond and present your case on why he should not have visitation, however, the noncustodial parent is generally given some rights. Again, whether or not there is a support order and whether or not he pays support has no effect on his rights as a father.
