Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
My son is headed for a divorce and I want to give him money for a truck. I do not want it to be split in half when he gets divorced we live in Pa. Is it possible to protect the asset

If he gets it after the parties have separated then its separate property. Other ways would be to put the truck in your name, have you get the insurance but list your son as a driver on the policy. When the divorce is final, you can then put the truck in your son's name. I would suggest that your son needs to talk this over with his divorce attorney.
