Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My ex and I have a son who is 3. I have 100% physical custody and visits are when agreed upon. Today I took my son over for a visit with his dad at his dads parents house during the visit my ex and his brother got in a fist fight in front of my son and I got my son and was trying to leave my ex kept taking my son from me. I finally got my son from him and left. My ex can't keep a job and I don't know where he is living now, he also has a history of drugs and a dui and also has no car. He's told me he's taking me for 50/50 custody. He's not a fit parent to have our son alone unsupervised. I called the police once I left to file a report. I have a lawyer but I need to know if there's anyway I can keep my son alway from him being that he is unstable and not good influence whatsoever.
