Hello my spouse stopped paying alimoney . How can I collect past payments, please give me an idea, can I go to SSA try to collect ? Thank you

Thank you for your question,

If you and your spouse are now divorced and your spouse was Ordered to pay you alimony, then if he has stopped paying you, you should file a Petition for Contempt with the Court that entered the Order for the payment of alimony.
