do i have to sign divorce papers? if i don't sign them, then isn't it true, after a period of time, wouldn't the divorce happen anyway, without me signing them? if you could please email me back as soon as possible, i would truly appreciate that. thank you for your time and consideration.

My question is why wouldn't you sign them? How would not signing make you better off?
Depending on the grounds for divorce signing vs. not signing might mean something. Not know the grounds on which the divorce action is based makes it hard to answer your question.
