Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Can I be sued..

I have a friend who is in the middle of a divorce. His wife is saying that she is going to sue me, because she thinks we have been together. All she has is an email I sent him. Can she do this when I am not in that state.

Suits for alienation of affections went out with hoopskirts.

Now that WA recognizes no-fault divorce, there are no reasons alleged for the break up other than "the marriage is irretrevably broken".

It doesn't matter, for these purposes, where you live. Hope this helps. Powell
