Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I have not talked to my mother in 5 years and just found out she passed away 6 months ago, I have 3 sisters who never informed me of her death. 2 live in Pa and one in Calif. I know they went into her house and took what they wanted. I know there are pictures and sentimentals items I would of liked to have had a choice of but was never given the option. Can I sue them for this?

You do not indicate where your mother lived when she passed. This would be the state that has jurisdiction of the estate. Did she have a will if so it has to be probated in the state where she died as a resident. You can contact the county court in the state to see if an estate was filed. if she had no will then under the intestate laws of where she died you most likely would have a claim for your share of her probatable assets. there are time periods that may be applicable. i suggest you speak with an attorney regarding these issues.
