Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Transfer Divorce Decree to Alabama

My divorce and child support was finalized in PA. I now live in AL and my ex lives in Minnesota. He is trying to get out of paying for college even though it is in the support agreement. PA says they can not help me, AL says they could help if I could get the agreement transferred to AL. How can that happen.

Re: Transfer Divorce Decree to Alabama

You have to have your decree domesticated in Alabama and have the courts here accept venue. That would include filing here and causing him to subject himself to this court.
