Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

TriStateBernie

On Nov.21 my brother who lives & works in NJ was called by the Monroe county PA family court to come and get his 2 sons ages 10/11 & was given primary custody because their mother, his estranged wife failed a court order substance test. There no out of the ordinary stipulation just visitation rules.

Q. When my brother left the PA family court that day with the boys, where did the PA family court expect them to go live? Back to NJ where he lives or because they orderd him to take his children, did they expect him to automaticlly move back to PA?

Please this is a no brainer I know, unfortunitly dishonest people have put the fear of the PA court in my brothers head and he needs help and the answer to this question is the start.

Thank You

Unless there is a specific order prohibiting out of state movement your brother is fine.
