Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I am tryin to put my sons father on child support and he says im going to go to jail because i had filed a case against someone i thought might be the father before but i closed that case and opened a case against him. He said that since i filed for a person that wasnt the father that im going to jail but thats what i dont understand i wasnt sure who the father was and i was unfaithful once in our relationship and i wanted to be sure but since they couldnt find the man i was unfaithful with i closed the case and decided to see if my ex was the father and put him on child support. So for my hearing for child support will i need a lawyer or do i need not to worry about it?(Going to jail)

John Davidson Law Office of John A. Davidson

And what's his Supreme Court ID Number.?

You won't be going to jail that's just bull.

Whether you need a lawyer depends. If both parties get their income from a job that gives them a W-2 I generally feel a lawyer isn't necessity.

Now if you're still nervous. Feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
