Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Visitation

what are my legal paths for enforcing my custody order. my boys father and i entered into an agreement in 1998 where he has them 3 weekends a month and one week in june-july and august. last year he stopped seeing them for a month and now only sees them every other weekend. they need him at ages 10 & 11 years. i had to quit my weekend job and have lost retirement and benefits. i want to force visitation so he must help in raising them & so i can get back to work for our future. at 39 years old & single i have little resources. the boys are desperate for dads attention & participation. help!

Re: Visitation

The Courts cannot force a father to be a good and attentive parent. However, you may be able to bring the matter before a custody conciliator to demonstrate the harm to the children. Your best tactic is to contact a family law lawyer to discuss your situation in detail and determine a strategy to get the Court involved. We are available for any questions you may have.
