Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

visitation/child support

if a father is self employed and has two other children who live with him, what are the guidelines for the amount of child support he will have to pay on the 3rd one who would not be living with him? Is it based on his gross or what he makes after business deductions?

Also what kind of visitation rights would he have if he has 2 other children at home?

Thank you

Re: visitation/child support

For the self employed it gets complicated. Looking at just the net income of a business as reported to the IRS may understate the true income. Such items as depreciation allow a business owner to reduce net income while requiring no actual cash outlay. Additionally, what sort of personal expenses are paid for by the business things like vehicle expenses cell phones and life insurance.

As to the "visitation" the correct term is partial custody that would depend on lots of things. Their ages, relationship to the third child.

Bottom line you have issues that are just to complex for a short answer here.
