Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Whick state laws are more favorable to the Father PA vs NJ

I am currently paying support in the state of New Jersey but niether me nor my children's mother live in New Jersey any longer. I currently reside in Florida and she resides in Pennsylvania. I wanted to find out would it be benificial to myself to change to the Pennsylvania court system. Thank You.

I cannot comment on NJ law but will limit my comments to PA. Under Pennsylvania law and reciprocal support provisions, if the residence of the child is Pennsylvania, the support order could be transferred to the county domestic relations support office where the child resides. This would not result in a change in the support order. Should you wish to modify the support order, you would then petition in the state of the child's residence, which would apply the law of that state in determining the support duty owing.
