Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My wife wants to try living apart but we do not want to file legal seperation, does anything need to be signed so either of us won't be responsible for any debt the other one may incur while living apart?

There is no legal separation in Pennsylvania. Debts are the responsibility the party that incures them.
