Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
My soon to be Wife has 2 wonderful children to her ex husband. We are planning on getting married in Florida the weekend of Easter. We are leaving for a week, with the kids.
The problem being that weekend is her ex husbands weekend with the kids. He only gets the kids every other weekend. She is the custodial parent. Also that is a holliday weekend, which means split custody for the day. About 3 mo ago, she let him know that we would be going on vacation that weekend, and if he wanted he could have the kids the weekend before, and weekend after. He had no problem with this. Recently when he found out that we were getting married, he has changed his mind. He is now saying that its his weekend, and he expects them to be ready on Sat morning as usual. My question is, can he do this, or what steps should we take to make sure we dont get introuble for leaving the state?

Come on she knew that he would have custody Easter weekend. She also should have known that the impending marriage wouldn't sit well with her ex husband. So why not schedule the wedding then? Because he will make himself a total pain in the butt. Why not schedule the wedding some weekend that's mom's weekend?
