Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
hi i was wondering how old a child can be to make there own descions on where they wanted to live and with whom?

A court will take into consideration a child's custody preference more and more as he or she grows older. Once he or she reaches 14, in fact, courts typically give VERY great weight to the child's preference.
It's never a slam dunk, however: courts will always make the final decision based upon what is in the child's "best interests." For instance, a child may wish to live with one parent because that parent supplies alcohol and prostitutes. You can bet your bottom dollar that a court will not allow that to happen, of course.
