Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
I was wondering how I can go about getting a Paternity test done. The situation is there is a child that the father is in question, The mother said it was another guy and he accepted it as his and his name is on the birth certificate. But everyone that sees the child says she in no way looks like the supposed father and she looks like me. I would like to get a paternity test done so I know for sure but the mother wants none of that. Is there anything I can do to get a test done. Also there is a situation where children and youth asked the supposed father if the child needed to be removed from the mother can he take the child. He said yes and stuff but he is a drug addict and all and if there is a chance I am the father I would never want the child to be in his hands. I am and always have been willing to take on full responsibility of caring for the child. So my question is... Is tehre anything I may do to get a Paternity test done so I know 100% if the child is mine or not????

Are any of the parties married to each other? You could file a custody action alleging that you are the father if you have reason to believe that is the case. There are many questions that need to be answered though. Please call my office for a free initial consultation.
