Legal Question in Medical Leave in Pennsylvania

Moving out at 17

I 17 years of age and I was wondering if it is possiable to move out at the age of 17. If so it would make things better for me. I'm just having to much trouble at home and just need to get out on my own!

Re: Moving out at 17

Gee, you sound like me at 17.

Find a local teen counselor and discuss your problems with him/her. That will help you more than a lawyer can at this point in your life.

I know it's not what you want to hear but really need to look at what you're asking from a more practical standpoint.

How would you support yourself? Where would you live? Contracts with minors are generally unenforceable so NOBODY will rent you an apartment. You can't even buy a car. And many jobs are foreclosed to you just because of your age. Get your high school diploma and then get your ass into college or trade school and you'll be out soon enough.
