Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

Who's name should be on Auto titles?

I am married and a home owner, own several cars and need to protect my property in case of an accident that causes more damage than my insurance will cover. My home is in my wifes and my name. Does it matter if both names are on the titles? What if I am arrested for DUI or drug offences?

In Pennsylvania, it would be wise to title the vehicles in both of your names for asset protection. It might behoove you to get an extra liability insurance policy to cover any damages/lawsuits that may arise. A sit down with an attorney who is well versed in asset protection and estate planning might be warranted.
