Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

collecting judgements

I just won a civil suit in PA small claims court over improperly held escrow money for a residential property. How do I make sure he pays up. I know he has a month to appeal.

Re: collecting judgements

After 30 days have passed take the judgment to the County Prothonotary and file it as a judgment.

If that doesn't get his attention nothing will. It puts the world on notice that he owes you money. Its also where title searchers look for liens when they search real estate titles.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
