Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
Father Remains
My Father Died in 1994 I was Never Notified. I just found out that my father was creamated. I feel as though that the ashes were to be given to me since I was His oldest son and I was next to kin and he was never married. The lady that the ashes were given to sighned my father's last name. So my question is ''Do I have any legal action against social socerity or the undertaker''.

Re: Father Remains
It would appear not. First, your father's wishes may be set forth in a Will. Even if not, too much time has passed, and absent any very unusual circumastances, any statute of limitations has likely passed. If there are any unusual circumstances, you should consult with a lawyer
