Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
My ex fiance sent me a facebook message (we aren't friends on facebook) saying I owe her money for some bills and wedding deposits she paid. We haven't spoken since 03/2009 when I signed the house deed over to her. Now out of the blue she is threatening to take me to small claims court. Isn't there a statute of limitations to file a claim in small claims.

Generally 4 years in Pennsylvania since the last payment or promise. Good luck.

Depending on her theory of why you owe her the money she has either 2 or 4 years to file a lawsuit. 2 if she claims you committed a tort 4 years if it was a breach of contract. These limits apply in either the district justice or in Common Pleas.
It's been over 5 years so ignore her.
