Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
I filed age discrimination against my employer with the EEOC.
I received a copy of the "Statement of Position of Respondent"
which contains selective omissions of facts and false statements
which I have documentation to prove to be untrue. Do I have grounds to file a libel defamation of character lawsuit against my
former employer?

Generally, legal proceedings are exempt from defamation claims as the courts do not want a chilling effect. Rather, what protects the integrity of the judicial system is the law of perjury. Making false statements under oath that are material to the case is a criminal action and you can follow up with the D.A's office if you believe that occurred.
