Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
I can go into much much greater detail if necessary but I'm gonna try to keep this as brief as possible. August of 2006 I was kicked out of a PA Casino and told I was banned, but never received anything in writing... I never stopped going... exactly 1 year and 4 days later they catch me in the casino and are gonna charge me with Trespassing. The State Police search my bag and find drug paraphernalia (No Drugs) and they also discover a bench warrant due to not showing up for a court date relating to the original time I was kicked out of the casino.... this happened at about 2:30pm on a Friday, I didn't see a judge til tuesday, I was on my way to work that day and work weekends so I missed 5 days of work and lost my job. In
I have several if not dozens of mailings from this casino inviting me to their casino in between the time i was originally kicked out and the time I was arrested for trespassing a year later. and not just generic promotions or free slot play offers I have letters from hosts addressed to me alone inviting me to come in during the month of September for my birthday and have a drink on them also an Invite for Dinner for Two on them during the month of September for My birthday invites that appear very specific and personal intended for me and not sent to everyone on their mailing list.... I believed that after a certain period of time that all was forgiven and they were inviting me back to their casino.
If that were the case then I should not have been stopped for Trespassing and Illegally searched and held etc... I contend that I would not have lost my job had I been allowed to leave that day when I wanted to. So... does anyone think I have a leg to stand on here and think I should sue the casino?
