Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

Internet Privacy

Hello,

I have a website, and before I do anything illegal (that's the last thing I want to do) is make sure it is legal. If I were to have a picture of a person on my website without their permission, it should be blurred. But what if it is their back, and you are not able to see any facial structures. Does the back of the person's head need to be blurred anyway? Thank you for you time, I would greatly appreciate if you could answer this.

Thanks,

Andy

Re: Internet Privacy

It really isn't as easy as that. You really haven't provided enough information about the person for a concrete answer to be given. Is the person a public figure? Is the photograph otherwise copyrighted? Where was the photo taken (in public or in private)? What's the purpose of having the photo on the site?
