Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
If a landlord puts a claim into the insurance company and the insurance company pays the claim and advises me i am responsible for the claim and to make arrangements with the insurance company for payment can the landlord take me to court and sue me for the damages already paid by the insurance.

If the landlord has already been paid by the insurance company, then he cannot come back and seek a double recovery from you.
