lemon sales

i am renting a stero off of a rental company the stero has been in repair shop more then in my house can i ge my money back from what i paid into it the company say they will keep fixing it but i want to return it and get my money back it is a rent to own place

There is some consumer regulation over rent-to-own, which is a notorious scam.

Renting means you pay for the use of the thing and have no ownership interest. I hope you weren't paying rent while the stereo was not working. IN any event, we'd have to look at the contract to see if there's a starting point for possible remedies.
