Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

If I lent a large sum of money to a friend on a verbal agreement, what are my options for getting it back. It is 5 years now and he still does not have the money to return it to me.

While verbal contracts are enforceable it's not very easy to enforce them. Your big bar to recovery is that the statute of limitations on contracts is 4 years.
