Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

I met a great guy online a year ago and we have been growing very close ever since.

We have never met as I have required medical attention and had to move in with my mother (in a rented home) to assist taking care of me during this time in Oklahoma .

A few months after getting to know Tom, I revealed that I am in the process of receiving 3 million dollars in a lawsuit. He has helped me out financially and also provided his bank accounts to accept this money as my bank account was frozen and I cannot open a new one as all my ID is back home in New York. I am unable to travel to NY due to my illness.

Tom has offered to get the ID for me at my house, but I feel funny about that.

Tom is concerned that money going into his account needs to be accounted for (for IRS and Homeland Security) and as such, I have assigned him as my trustee and we have a legal document stating so.

Tom has also requested reviewing the documents pertaining to this 3M settlement to further protect him as he has experience in the legal field, but I have not allowed that because the documents are classified. He has requested the court, judge and case number to verify this, but I believe any information leading to those documents I am not allowed to give out..am I wrong?

I have also not provided the following to him ...

� The name or contact information of my lawyer who is handling the lawsuit, because my lawyer does not want me to give that information out

� The name or contact information of the party that is issuing the settlement

� No other verifiable information on me, whatsoever, including a traceable or registered phone number

What would be your advice be to Tom (and me)?

Run, You put money in a bank account of someone you've never even meet? Your mother could have done that or your lawyer culd have parked it in his trust account..

This sounds fishy.
