Re: moving out

No, it isn't. If it is your stuff you can take legal action to get it back. If you are still 16 you may need an adult to help you. You can go to the magistrate and file a complaint.

Re: moving out

You asked about being kicked out of your house.

No, this isn't legal. No matter the reasons it neither acceptable or legal for a guardian (of any type) to dislocate a minor.

The first person you speak with should be a counselor at your local high school. (Whether you have been attending or not..) These people are trained to deal with your issue and will hopefully work with you to get to a satisfactory result or at least get you on the track to getting the assistance you need.

Or you should call legal aid today. Or call the legal clinics at your local law schools and see if they can help you today.

You could even call your local social services office and they must help you. I should warn though, that once you go to the social services agency you will be "in the system" and depending on your personality and other attributes it may be difficult. That is not to say it isn't an excellent route for most people.

If you run into any walls, call or email me and I can offer some assistance in getting around those walls or finding the resources you need.

Regards,

Roger
