Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania
neighbors chickens destroying our property
We live in the residential area of our township. Our neighbors 6 chickens got loose and destroyed $180 worth of new plants and ripped up 120ft. of mulch and black paper on our fence line. Have any laws been broken and is there anything we can do to recoup almost $500 worth of damages. We have spoken to these people and they just laugh. We have pictures to back up this property damages including the chickens ripping out the plants. Thank you

If you have proof that their chickens did the damage you can take them to DJ court. It doesn't matter if laws were broken they could have civil liability which means you may sue them for damages.
