Neighbors surveilance cameras viewing my home

neighbor has cameras pointed at my house with out my permission and the surrounding street. he moves them to my daughters room window at times, what can I do ?

The legal system may not offer the best solution to this problem, because it's not necessarily illegal to take pictures of the exterior of a home, from neighboring property.

It's not clear whether these are surveillance cameras in the sense of his own security system, or whether he's spying on you. You have a range of options:

Ask him by phone or in person to point the cameras so they don't point at your property.

Write him a letter request.

Retain an attorney to write him a request.

Complaint to the police.

However, since what's he's doing is probably not illegal, unless you can show it's some pattern of harrassment directed against you, the last two steps might not be effective.

Finally, you can build a fence. That's not what you want to hear, but that's the traditional remedy for neighbor problems.
